Scientific research is a very large category covering the science of photobiomodulation (PBM) or light therapy. With respect to PBM, scientific research is a very specific category. It offers up to date studies of light therapy, or PBM. More specifically, this category includes research on the effects of PBM in its various forms. Thus, such forms of light therapy include transcranial photobiomodulation (tPBM), intranasal photobiomodulation (iPBM), combination of both tPBM and iPBM, and other forms of applications of PBM.

Furthermore, the focus of the scientific research category is mostly on peer-reviewed articles in reputable scientific publications. Such publications provide the latest and the most substantiated information about PBM. They offer a good insight in the current state of research into PBM, including applications, efficacy and delivery.

The field of PBM has been attracting more and more bright minds of science, garnering interest for a number of applications. Consequently, scientific research of this exciting field is growing. A significant body of works on PBM has been produced and published annually. Thus, the science of photobiomodulation is gaining support. The studies of light therapy are dating well over half a century back.
